Allow Jesus to BE the difference in our lives by following Him so we can BE the Difference in the lives of those God puts in our path and places on our hearts.

Our Vision

We will transform our families, neighborhoods and communities one person at a time, one act of service at a time, and see transformation in the hearts and lives of thousands of people, by the power of the Spirit at work in us. God will show us miracles in our community that will be undeniable.

Our Culture

As followers of Jesus, we have a holy confidence in Him, which produces rest since He is in control.

(We rest because we trust God.)

We represent the creator of the universe who loves us; therefore, we love others well.

(We receive love and give love freely.)

Our first ministry is at home, so we take care of our families first.

(Family is our first ministry.)

We don’t take ourselves too seriously.

(Life can be fun and we can enjoy His creation together.)

Our Strategy

Simply put, we will follow the way of Jesus in our own lives to receive love, wisdom, guidance, and the fruits of the Spirit so that our hearts are filled. (Following the spiritual disciplines of the 4S’s.) Then, we will share what we’ve received with others. The goal of every believer is to first serve and apprentice their spouse and family before anyone else. Then, to make a difference each day in the lives of those God puts in our path. And finally, to apprentice 5 people to walk in the true way of Jesus.

Come together with others for a time of praising, worshipping, sharing, and encouraging others to “run the race with endurance”. And to be visible to the world.

Jesus calls us to then disciple others…to walk with them, care for them, love them. Our goal is for each person to disciple 5 people in their lifetime.

(DISCIPLE)

Jesus showed us that when we receive love we are called to GIVE LOVE. We will care for the least of these, walking into every day with open hands in AVAILABILITY.

Our Founder

Hello and welcome to The Difference Church. My name is Pastor Greg and this photo is of me and my wife of 25+ years. We currently live in Florida and have 4 boys at various stages of their lives. This journey of starting a mobile church began in March of 2019, as I sought a deeper relationship with Jesus. As a pastor of a megachurch with 1000's of members, I wasn't experiencing the type of intimacy I saw with Jesus and his disciples, and frankly, I didn't see many of the "church go'ers" experiencing it either. And I certainly didn't see all that many people experiencing the abundant life Jesus promises. I knew there had to be more.

In March of 2019, I began a journey of fasting and prayer with God asking him to show me what we were all missing, and asking for a greater intimacy in my own relationship with Jesus. 30 days into that time of deeper prayer and fasting I was woken up at 4am with a clear vision for the church (the people) rising up to BE THE CHURCH. It wasn't for me to get a fancy building, become a celeb style preacher, and create entertaining services. The Lord clearly showed me in that vision that the path to making a difference in our world is intimacy with God leading to intimacy with others. He told me we would use our homes and other public spaces to bring the love of Christ to others.

Over the course of the next 12 months, the Lord taught me personally how to grow in my intimacy with Him, by truly following Jesus, and I began experiencing the 4 S's (which I now teach) of Solitude, Silence, Scripture, & Sabbath. As I pressed into my relationship with God the Father and Jesus the Son through the Holy Spirit, I began to discover a greater love I had not known before. And that greater love led me to more peace, joy, and hope in my life as I trusted God with everything I have. The freedom I have personally experienced in this journey has given me a mission to lead people into this intimate relationship with God as we join a movement of the church without walls and without borders. I would ask you to read Our Mission and pray about coming alongside us in this journey. Your home can become a sanctuary where others find healing and restoration. This is the call Jesus invites us into. Together we can make a difference in our families, our communities, and the world!
